Understanding Your All-New Key Data DMO Account

DMO accounts are designed to give you a big-picture view of your destination, focusing on market-wide trends rather than individual property data.

What Makes Your DMO Account Different?

Your DMO account gives you access to market-level analytics rather than individual property data. Instead of seeing data for a single property or portfolio, you see aggregated performance metrics across your entire destination — occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, revenue, nights sold, guest origins, and more across all vacation rentals and hotels in your assigned markets.

Your Account Tier

Your organization has one of two DMO account types:

DMO Full Account gives you access to:

  • Direct market data — aggregated vacation rental performance for your destination (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, revenue, nights sold, and more)
  • OTA data — Airbnb and Vrbo marketplace analytics (if the OTA add-on is enabled on your account)
  • Hotel data — hotel performance analytics (if hotel access is enabled on your account)
  • Full suite of market benchmarking and scorecard reports
  • Guest location / feeder market analysis

DMO Lite Account gives you access to:

  • OTA data only — Airbnb and Vrbo marketplace analytics
  • OTA-specific benchmarking and scorecard reports
  • No Direct market data and no hotel data

Not sure which tier you have? Your administrator can confirm your account type. If you can see "Market Benchmarking" reports with Direct data, you're on a Full account. If you only see Airbnb and Vrbo reports, you're on Lite.

Your Assigned Markets

Your account is tied to specific geographic markets (destinations/areas). You'll only see data for the markets your organization has been assigned. Markets are hierarchical — if you're assigned a region, you can drill down into sub-areas within that region.

Your administrator can also restrict individual users to a subset of the organization's markets if needed.

What You Won't See

Because DMO accounts focus on market analytics, a few things aren't part of your experience:

  • Individual property management data — That's for property managers who use Key Data to manage their own portfolios.
  • The Marketplace — The add-on store is designed for property managers. Your data access is managed at the account level by your administrator.
  • Property-level reports — You see market-level aggregations, not individual property details.
