COMING SOON: Keystone Beta Program

Get early access to new features and help shape Key Data's future

COMING SOON

As a member of the Keystone Program, you'll get early access to new Key Data features before they're released to everyone else. This guide will help you understand how the program works and what to expect as a participant.

What is the Keystone Program?

The Keystone Program is our ongoing beta testing initiative that gives our existing users (that's you!) first access to new features while they're still in development. Think of it as a VIP loop where you get to see what's coming next and help shape how we build it.

Instead of a one-time beta test, this is a continuous program that runs alongside our product roadmap. We release features in cycles, and we match specific beta opportunities to participants who will benefit from them most.

How It Works

1. Matching

When we have a new feature ready for testing, we review our Keystone Program roster to find participants whose profile matches the new tool. Not every feature will be a fit for every participant, which is why you might be invited to some beta tests but not others.

2. Email Invitation

If a feature is a good fit for you, you'll receive an email with the subject line "Keystone Invite". This email will include:

  • Details about the specific feature being tested
  • Instructions on where and how to access it in your dashboard
  • The testing timeline (start and end dates)
  • How to provide feedback for that feature

3. Testing

You'll test the feature within your own Key Data dashboard portal using your real data. The feature will only be visible to your individual user login and other Keystone Program participants who have been invited to that specific beta test.

4. Feedback

During the testing timeline, you'll share your thoughts, report any issues, and help us understand how the feature works in real-world scenarios. Your input directly influences the final version that launches to all users.

What You Get

  • First Look Access: Be among the first to see and use our newest capabilities before public release.

  • Direct Influence: Your feedback shapes the final design, functionality, and user experience of new features.

  • Closer Connection: More direct communication with our Product team and insight into what we're building.

What We Ask From You

  • Honest Feedback: Tell us what works, what doesn't, and what could be better. We value constructive input, whether positive or critical.

  • Bug Reports: If you encounter technical issues, let us know so we can fix them before the broader launch.

  • Timely Response: If you do choose to participate in a beta test, please try to provide feedback within the testing timeline so we can incorporate your input before the feature goes live.

Providing Feedback and Reporting Issues

When you receive a "Keystone Invite" email for a specific beta test, it will include specific instructions for how to share feedback for that feature.

This might be:

  • A feedback survey
  • A scheduled 1:1 video call with our Product team
  • Direct email to our beta testing team

For general questions or non-beta testing related issues, you can always reach our team at support@keydatadashboard.com.

Important Guidelines

Keep It Confidential

The features you'll see are still under wraps. Please don't publically share details, screenshots, or information about these pre-release features with others unless we give you the green light. By participating, you agree to our overall Terms and Conditions.

Expect Some Rough Edges

Early access features are still in beta, which means they might have bugs, quirks, or performance hiccups. What you're seeing isn't the final polished version, but you'll help us get there. That's the whole point! If you encounter issues, please report them so we can address them before the public launch.

Managing Your Participation

How to Join the Program

Ready to become a Keystone Program participant? Here's how to opt in:

  1. Log in to your Key Data dashboard at app.keydatadashboard.com
  2. Click on Your Name in the bottom left corner
  3. Go to Settings and select Keystone Beta Program
  4. Review the program details and toggle on your participation

Important: Opting into the Keystone Program is an individual decision. When you opt in, only you will see beta features during that test period in your dashboard - not your colleagues or other users at your company. If other team members want to participate, they'll need to opt in separately using their own login credentials. This ensures beta features are only visible to users who have actively chosen to participate and understand they're testing pre-release functionality.

Opting Out

We understand that priorities and schedules change. If at any time you no longer have the bandwidth to participate or wish to leave the program entirely, simply opt out via your Settings > Keystone Beta Program page.

We'll remove you from the program immediately with no questions asked. You can always rejoin later if your circumstances change.

Skipping Individual Tests

You don't need to participate in every beta test. If you receive a "Keystone Invite" email but don't have time or interest in that particular feature, simply don't respond. You'll remain in the program and can participate in future opportunities that are a better fit.

What Happens After Testing?

After each testing timeline ends:

  • We'll review all feedback and make final adjustments to the feature
  • You may receive a follow-up survey or additional communication about the results
  • The feature will be refined based on your input and launched to all Key Data users
